Theodore D. Galanides

  • Ted joined Meridian in 2016. Prior to joining Meridian, he was president and founder of Nike Investment Partners.

    Ted received a BBA degree in Economics from The College of William & Mary in 1959. Employed by his family’s food service distribution business in 1959 he was elected National Sales Representative of the year by the North American Food Service Organization in 1971. In 1981 the family business was purchased by a subsidiary of Sara Lee and Ted retired. Urged by his wife and friends to enter the business world again Ted joined E. F. Hutton & Co. in the fall of 1982. Ted has been active in his church and community having served on the board of trustees of his church, local and state boards of The March of Dimes, elected the founding president of the board of the Cancer Care Foundation of Tidewater and co-chaired the Massey Fund at Norfolk Academy.
