After a 9-year career in the NFL, Jacob Tamme joined the Meridian team in 2019. During his professional football career, he developed a passion for helping athletes and high net worth individuals manage the complexities of their financial world. At Meridian, Jacob serves as the Director of the Sports & Entertainment Division and is a member of the Vantage View Partners team.

Jacob earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky in 2005 and his Masters of Business Administration from the same institution in 2007. Before joining Meridian, Jacob served on the board of directors for Farmers National Bank.

Jacob’s decorated career included numerous awards including twice being named 1st-Team All-SEC, ESPN 1st-Team Academic All-American, SEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year, National Good Works Team member, “Mr. Wildcat” Catspy winner, FCA Bobby Bowden Award winner, Draddy Award finalist, and being named to the UK Athletics Frank G. Ham Society of Character. He was recently named to the UK Athletics Hall of Fame.

Jacob and his wife Allison are involved with many philanthropic efforts including their signature event, the Swings for Soldiers Classic, benefiting Homes For Our Troops. Jacob also serves as honorary chair of Coaches for the Kids which benefits the UK Children’s Hospital. He enjoys spending time on the family farm and loves nothing more than spending time with his three young children – Luke, Lyla, and Ella.
