Jake is a Tucson native who started at Meridian as an intern in the summer of 2022, was hired full-time as a Portfolio Analyst, and eventually became a licensed Wealth Management Advisor. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Northern Arizona University Honors College, where he earned two degrees: a B.S. in Finance and a B.S. in Economics.

Jake discovered his passion for the stock market in 2019 through financial and technical analysis. He is committed to working with clients to identify new opportunities and mitigate risk in their portfolios. This passion motivated him to start Meridian West’s market newsletter, Blume’s Bulls and Bears. He also writes stock analysis articles for Seeking Alpha, a financial research platform with over 20 million users.

Outside of the office, Jake is passionate about giving back to the community he grew up in. He sits on the board of Tucson Young Professionals, serves as the Treasurer of the Southern Arizona Educational Council, and is a member of the advisory board for the NAU Honors College, where he works to improve the student experience.

In his free time, Jake is a big foodie and enjoys binge-watching great TV shows, following any and all sports (as a loyal Boston sports fan), reading, writing, traveling, and spending time with his family. He also loves discussing different stocks and market opportunities and is always looking for ways to expand his knowledge.
