Shawn DeFoe earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, cum laude, from Texas State University in 1998. He began his financial career at Janus Mutual Funds, where he obtained his Series 6, 26, and 63 licenses. In 2000, he joined Banc One Securities, earning his Series 7 and Louisiana Life & Health licenses. By 2006, Shawn had passed the Series 65 exam, qualifying him to serve clients as an independent fiduciary advisor.

In 2004, Shawn launched his own advisory practice, which evolved into Integrity Registered Investment Advisors in 2009—an embodiment of his full commitment to the fiduciary standard. Under his leadership, Integrity has grown from managing $15 million to over $240 million in assets, serving first responders, healthcare professionals, oil and gas workers, and business owners preparing for transition.
